Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coder (Certified Inpatient) - FT.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inpatient coding, including DRG assignment and
validation
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of coding and maintain relationships
with relevant teams
Utilize the 3M Encoder to accurately code and classify medical
records according to ICD-10-CM/PCS
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Three to five years of coding experience required, preferably in
inpatient coding
Advanced training in medical coding (ICD10-CM/PCS, CPT, and
APC)
High school diploma, GED, or higher education required
Certification from AHIMA (RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CCA) or AAPC Coding
Certification required
Ability to work remotely with high-speed internet and a compliant
work area
