Job Description:
A company is looking for a Field Medical Director, Radiology
(Pulmonology Preferred).
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the Physician match reviewer for Imaging cases and
specialty reviews
Discuss determinations with requesting physicians and provide
clinical rationale for appeals
Ensure documentation of communications is recorded accurately and
participate in ongoing training
Required Qualifications
MD/DO/MBBS degree
Minimum of five years' experience in Medicine with active clinical
practice preferred
Current, unrestricted clinical license in medicine or required
specialty
Active Board Certification in Pulmonology
No history of major disciplinary actions by a state medical
board
