Job Description:
A company is looking for a Prior Authorization Pharmacy
Technician (REMOTE).
Key Responsibilities
Handle incoming calls from members and providers, assisting with
the prior authorization process
Maintain accurate documentation of reviews and escalate clinical
questions to the pharmacist team
Assist with additional duties such as outbound calls and processing
prior authorizations received via fax
Required Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician
Experience with Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBM) is preferred
Call center or high-volume call experience is required
Verifiable high school diploma or GED is required
Must have an active Pharmacy Technician license without
restrictions in the state of residence
