Job Description:
A company is looking for a Nurse Coder (Product Specialist) to
develop and enhance clinical and coding products remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Develop content and innovative strategies for clinical and coding
products
Analyze data and perform research to improve claim selection
methodologies
Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support and client engagement
regarding clinical policies and coding review programs
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in reviewing and auditing ICD 10 CM/PCS,
MS-DRG, and proficient with encoder products
Inpatient Medical Coding Certification required (e.g., CCS, CIC,
RHIA, RHIT) or coding certification (CPC) with inpatient coding
experience
Expertise in Itemized Bill Review and clinical/coding resources
development
Deep knowledge of inpatient and outpatient billing and coding
audits
Ability to research and implement policies based on State and
Federal regulations and coding guidelines
