Job Description:
A company is looking for an Inpatient Coding Auditor.
Key Responsibilities
Audit hospital and physician medical records for compliance with
coding and regulatory standards
Collaborate with Billing and Revenue Cycle teams to coordinate
payment corrections and investigate discrepancies
Conduct training and provide education on coding and compliance
requirements to staff
Required Qualifications
Mandatory expertise in ICD-10-CM/PCS Hospital Inpatient coding and
auditing
Required credentials: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC-H, or CCS-P upon
hire
Certified Risk Adjustment Coder certification required upon
hire
Associate's Degree in a related field; Bachelor's or Master's
preferred, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of inpatient coding experience
